Table for Ten Intriguing dining table by artist & designer Albert Palsy, dated 1981. Paley’s sculptural practice developed out of his jewellery-making and goldsmithing, and a similar sensibility and intricacy is easily salvageable even in larger scale works such as this; where forged steel coils are pressed together in a surprising new and agile language as loops — reflective of loops of rope or cable — subtly support the clear glass tabletop surface. A 'TABLE FOR TEN' DINING TABLE, 1981 forged steel with glass top 30 in. (76.2 cm.) high, 72 in. (182.9 cm.) wide, 52 in. (132.1 cm.) deep signed and dated PALEY 1981 Acquired directly from the artist by the present owner https://hieronymusobjects.com/images/thumbs/0038655_table-for-ten.jpeg
