Elegant mahogany medallion case, the hinged glass door opening access to a set of nineteen drawers, each holding an array of Wedgwood medallions that number a total of forty-four. These include seventeen black basalt intaglios six Wedgwood & Bentley; one upper-lowercase; five uppercase and five unmarked; four black basalt oval portrait medallions, an upper case Apollonius of Rhodes; and a classical female; two upper-lowercase, one of Chilo, the other Livy; a rectangular black basalt portrait of a bearded man; two solid light blue with applied white relief; a square with portrait of Hooker; and a circular with classical figures; two double-sided tricolor jasper; three tricolor; seven upper-lowercase white jasper with portraits and classical subjects; five dark blue jasper dip; and a solid blue intaglio; most with impressed marks.
